It was in 2006 that I began my career as a Loan Officer, and I haven't looked back since. I first started working for a large corporate lender, enjoying success as I climbed the ladder to management. However, in 2011, the company was sold, and the lending environment changed. I decided it was time to move on and start my own firm. On November 22nd, 2011, I formed Broker House Lending with the Kentucky Secretary of State. My Mortgage Broker license was approved by the Kentucky Department of Financial Institutions on December 14th, 2011, and I successfully closed my first loan as a self-employed Mortgage Broker on January 30th, 2012.
